Movie Afternoon at The Campus Theater

Dreisbach will be a hosting movie afternoon at The Campus Theater on Sunday, August 16th @ 1:00pm. Spread the word, admission is free to the public and $5 vouchers will be made available to everyone for use at the concession stand! Come, relax and enjoy “David” with your family.

Free Spaghetti Dinner

The CARE Committee is organizing a free spaghetti dinner open to the public on Saturday, August 29th @ 4:30 pm. Please help us share and spread the word! If you would like to help prepare and serve the meal please see the sign-up in the back of the sanctuary to volunteer. We are also looking for a few donations of food items so check the sign-up for those items as well.

Playground Update

We have experienced a small delay in getting our new playground installed. We anticipate having the surface prepped and ready no later than September with the playground installed shortly afterwards.

Backpack Blessing

Believe it or not a new school year will soon be here. Kids and teachers bring your backpacks with you on Sunday, August 16th for our annual Backpack Blessing! During the service we will offer a special prayer for a safe and successful year as this new year of learning begins.

Rummage Sale

It’s hard to believe, but the Fall Rummage Sale is just around the corner! Save the dates: September 13-19! As you begin gathering your contributions, please keep the following in mind. Only donate clean, usable items. Also, there are certain items we can no longer accept because of the challenge of selling or disposing of them. We cannot take used baby and child car seats, televisions and computer monitors, entertainment centers, mattresses, or stuffed furniture.

Prime timers

Prime timers for August will be at Larry's Pizza & Subs on the 27th at 12:30.

Childcare

Volunteers are available to care for your young child in the nursery every Sunday after the Children’s Time until the end of the service. All volunteers have appropriate clearances. If you would like to be part of this ministry, please contact Diane Hackenberg.
