Vacation Bible School Silent Auction

Sunday, June 16th   - Mark Your Calendar! 

The VBS committee is looking for Donations!!! 

Baked goods, Handmade Items, Gift Cards, & More.  A sign-up sheet is in the back of the sanctuary. Donations can be dropped off at the back of the church.  Perishable items to be dropped off early in the morning of the auction on Sunday, June 16th.

Consistory Highlights – April 16th

·       The keypad code has been changed.  See a consistory member or Pam if you would like the code.

 

·       Wednesday Bible Study has resumed.  Examining Parables 6:30-8:00.

 

·       We are researching getting consistent WIFI in the basement. 

 

·       Keep your eyes open for some cosmetic projects to be completed in the future.

 

·       Penn Central Conference Music Festival is May 5th at 3:00 at the First Reformed UCC in Sunbury.  They will be unveiling the new mission project.

 

·       Upcoming Events

April 28- Rummage Sale set up

May 2 - 4 - Rummage Sale

June 2 - First Sunday Conversations - Church Events - Refreshments downstairs.

 Vacation Bible School

.Our VBS Program - "Camp Firelight" will take place June 10-14 from 6:30-8:30 P.M.  We need help in the following areas - Snacks, Decorations, Crafts and Games.   Children - ages 3-6th grade are eligible.  Please note that if you can help one night or a couple hours of your time would be greatly appreciated!  Registration forms are available at the back of the church.  Any questions, please contact Judy Willow at 570-412-2814.

 


Upcoming Meetings

·       The next meeting of the Prayer Shawl group is Monday, May 13th at 6:30 p.m. at the church. All are welcome. 

·       Prime-timers for May will be at OIP in Mifflinburg on May 23rd at 12:30 pm.

 


Childcare Volunteers

Volunteers are available to care for your child in the nursery every Sunday after the Children’s Time until the end of the service. Parents and caretakers are welcome to send their children to the nursery during that time. All volunteers have appropriate clearances. If you would like to participate in this ministry, please contact Diane Hackenberg. Volunteers for May are:
